Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Sandi Ybarra is a licensed and certified Doctor of Audiology with over 30 years of experience. She has specialized training in advanced hearing technologies, including Bluetooth and telecoil connectivity. She offers very personalized compassionate audiological services that are customized to meet your hearing and lifestyle needs. Her approach to solving hearing and communication problems is to include the family in the process.

Dr. Ybarra grew up in the small farming community of Warden, Washington. She has been married for over 35 years to Gregg. She has three sons: Rhett, Rhiley and Rhoman, and a very old pet rabbit. Dr. Ybarra enjoys traveling, especially to locations with sun and water. She also enjoys her herb garden and barbequing with friends in her back yard.

Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist

Emma was born in New Jersey and grew up in Pennsylvania, attending The Pennsylvania State University. A member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, she completed a program at Lane Community College before beginning work at Hearing Associates as an intern in 2006. Emma was married in 2015 at the Oregon Coast and her family includes a husband and two stepsons. She shares her home with two cats and one dog, but loves all animals and has been a vegetarian for many years. Volunteering, hot yoga, and martial arts are some of her interests. As a licensed Hearing Aid Specialist, her favorite part of her job is when patients report back which sounds have returned to their lives. 

Colette Vossler-Welch, Au.D.

Audiologist

Dr. Colette Vossler-Welch is a licensed and certified Doctor of Audiology who graduated from the Graduate Center, a part of the City Universities of New York.  She is bi-lingual, with American Sign-Language as her second language. Her audiology background includes balance testing, tinnitus treatment, pediatric testing, aural rehabilitation and advanced hearing instruments.   Being an individual with hearing loss herself who also wears a hearing aid due to profound hearing loss makes her exceptionally passionate about helping others hear their best.   In fact, breaking her own device nearly 10 years ago landed her a job working as an audiology assistant in Corvallis, OR that started her journey to become an audiologist.

Dr. Vossler-Welch grew up in Coos Bay, OR.  She moved to Eugene last summer (2020) with her husband, Colin and son Fenix.  She enjoys camping but not during the winter like her husband!   She also enjoys walking, hiking, snowboarding and most outdoor activities.
